He hadn't eaten for two days and I'd pointed this out to the office prick on Friday. Bob, as he was named by a volunteer several weeks ago, was buried at sea soon after being discovered. 13 months, 1 week and 2 days. They don't live forever, you know. The office prick had a replacement fish already in his backpack from his own private stock. It's a 9 month old something-or-other goldfish named Gill.
